AAHAM offers the following Professional Certification Exams in India through "The Mumbai Chapter of AAHAM":
- Certified Patients Account Manager (CPAM)
- Certified Clinic Account Manager (CCAM)
Eligibility
- National AAHAM Member in good standing (Membership fee - $175 per year)
- At least Four years’ healthcare experience
Difference between CPAM & CCAM
- CPAM – For those who work in the Hospital side of administrative management
- CCAM – For those who work in the Clinical/Physician side of administrative management
Dual Technical Examination
- Examinee has to be a current CPAM or CCAM to take up this exam
- Currently CPAM certified – Can apply for CCAM Dual
- Currently CCAM certified – Can apply for CPAM Dual
Exam Content

Exam Format
- Online proctored environment
- Four Sections (Dual Exam – 3 sections)
- 8 Hour exam – 2 Hours per section
- Has Objective as well as Subjective questions. Subjective questions (including essays) may make up to more than 50% of the exam
- Pass % - 70% in EACH section
Exam Cost
- CPAM & CCAM - $175 per examinee for full exam
- Section Retake - $40 per examinee
- Dual CPAM/CCAM - $100 per examinee
Exam Date/Time
- The Mumbai Chapter offers the Professional Exams two times a year
- The exam would be held usually on the last Saturday of April & on the last Saturday of September
- The exam would start at around 8 am EST on the exam day
Exam Venue
- The Exam is available in Mumbai during both the exam dates in a year. The Mumbai Chapter may proctor exams in your facility or City based on certain criteria. Please contact david.clarkson@gebbs.com for more information.
Certification Validity
- Professional exams require that members follow certain requirements to earn CEUs (Continuing Education Units). Please check www.aaham.org for more information.

Application Deadline
The forms have to reach the AAHAM National Office by:
- March 1st for the April examination
- August 1st for the September examination
The Mumbai Chapter’s Coaching Sessions for Professional Exams
- The Mumbai Chapter offers coaching sessions for CPAM & CCAM exams over the telephone. These sessions would be for around Two hours per week spread over four to five months. The Chapter does not charge for these sessions.
